2018 Traverse RS is Turbocharged & Ready to Perform
Chevrolet announced earlier today in The Motor City - Detroit - that they are producing an RS version of the popular 2018 Traverse SUV. This new addition to the Chevrolet family includes a turbocharged engine, an aggressive upgrade to the overall look of the vehicle, and best-in-class cargo space at 98.2 cubic feet.
In 2018, Traverses grew 5.8 percent over their 2017 counterparts. Incidentally, the Equinox got almost 20 percent (19.9 percent) bigger in 2018. The RS is just one of six total trim levels that car buyers have to choose from when considering the Traverse.
Features that set the RS apart include its blacked-out grille, roof rail, and window trim. Plus this trim level comes equipped with 20-inch aluminum wheels finished in Dark Android.
You can only buy the RS Turbo Traverse in a two-wheel drive, four-cylinder configuration. Whereas the 2018 V6 Traverse is available with all-wheel drive.
Inside the RS there are plenty of upgrades, such as an eight-inch touchscreen, navigation, power liftgate, 4G LTE, Bose sound system with 10 speakers, and a whole lot more (see specs below).
