The Equinox EV will have front-wheel drive as standard. It will have a single motor with 210hp. The AWD version will have dual motors and output 290hp. If you’ve driven an EV before, you’ll know how quickly an electric motor accelerates, so you won’t be surprised by the performance estimates. GM predicts a 0-60 time of around 6 seconds with eAWD and a towing capacity of up to 1,500lbs.
