The 2021 Chevrolet Camaro coupe is the latest in a long line of legendary cars. This year’s model is part of the sixth generation of an iconic sports car that first rolled off the assembly line with 275 horsepower and a dual-cab V8 all the way back in 1967. Today’s version is every bit as lean and mean as the original.

Available in eight different trim levels, it’s never been easier to tailor this vehicle for your needs. The stiff foundation and blistering performance are even more enjoyable thanks to comfort and safety features, which have been upgraded for this year. New changes include minor revisions to the availability of standard safety features. Furthermore, wireless integration is now available for your Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

This vehicle is special at every trim level, and drivers can make it their own by choosing between several different 2021 Chevrolet Camaro coupe configurations. Explore each of the following options below, and even consider various option packages, as you personalize this vehicle to match your lifestyle and your needs as precisely as possible.

2021 Camaro Engine Options

As you peruse the trim levels above, one of the things most people will pay special attention to, is which engine comes in which trim levels. There are four total engine options available in the new Camaro, each of which is a feat of engineering in its own right. While the smaller engines are suited for the models in which they’re placed, you’ll definitely notice that the stats become much more impressive as you start to upgrade.

The four Camaro engines are as follows:

    1. 2.0-Liter Turbo Four-Cylinder Engine

      1. This engine offers 275 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque, which would be considered a lot for most vehicles even though this is the smallest Camaro engine. It takes you to sixty miles per hour from a complete standstill in only 5.5 seconds with the automatic transmission or 5.4 seconds with the manual transmission. It can be paired with either the six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. You’ll receive 30 miles per gallon on the highway and 22 miles per gallon in the city.
    2. 3.6-Liter V6 Engine

      1. Pair this engine with either the six-speed manual transmission or the ten-speed automatic transmission. Either way, it delivers 355 horsepower and 284 lb.-ft. of torque. That’s enough to get you from zero to 60 in 5.2 seconds with the manual transmission or 5.4 seconds with the automatic transmission. It gets 29 miles per gallon highway and 18 miles per gallon city.
    3. 6.2-Liter V8 DI Engine

      1. We’re in V8 territory now. That means a whopping 455 horsepower and 455 lb.-ft. of torque. You’ll get 26 miles per gallon on the highway and 16 miles per gallon in the city. Take it from zero to 60 in 4 seconds flat with an automatic transmission or 4.3 seconds with a manual.
    4. 6.2-Liter Supercharged V8 DI Engine

      1. This monster offers 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. That’s enough to get from zero to 60 in 3.5 seconds with an automatic transmission and 3.7 seconds with a manual.
