Power
The 1500 Silverado comes standard with Chevy’s industry-leading, fuel-efficient 4.3-liter EcoTec3 V6 engine in all of its trim models except the LTZ Z71 and High Country models. This engine provides you with an EPA-estimated 18 miles per gallon in the city and 24 on the highway, along with up to 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet torque and a towing capacity of up to 7,600 pounds. The Silverado Z71 and High Country models come standard with the 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine, increasing your towing capacity to 11,100 pounds while still providing an estimated 16 mpg city and 23 highway. This engine is an available upgrade on all other trims.
Safety
Available in the WT and LS trims, and standard in all other Chevy Silverado trim levels, the Rear Vision Camera will make sure you can see any obstacles behind you, keeping your loved ones and equipment safe. Teen Driver mode will give you piece of mind when your teenager is using your truck. Tied to a key fob, this tool prevents select safety systems from being disabled, limits certain vehicle features and provides a report on your teen’s driving habits. Standard in the High Country model, Forward Collision Alert and Lane Keep Assist help you avoid collisions. These safety features are also available in the LT and higher models. Convenience
Available remote start allows your Silverado to cool off in the Arizona summers, or warm up in the northern winter cold, before you get into your cab. Chevy’s MyLink touchscreen audio system provides quick access to the available features, like Bluetooth calling and streaming with compatible smartphones. Voice control keeps your hands on the wheel.
