The 2024 Tahoe has a powerful engine.
A V8 that produces 355 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. It also has a 3.0-liter diesel six-cylinder with 460 pound-feet of torque, making it the strongest engine in the Tahoe lineup. It comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and rear or all-wheel drive. The Tahoe has a two-speed transfer case for 4WD capability, 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, and underbody protection. Despite its power, the Tahoe is quiet on the highway due to sound insulation and soundproofing features.
