What’s New for 2024?

Everything about the all-electric 2024 Blazer EV will be new. Look for multiple trim options, including the following:

- 2024 Chevy Blazer EV SS

Chevrolet is also working on a 2024 Blazer EV Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV) that’s been rated for police fleet applications, including pursuits. That one won’t be available to the public, but consumers who crave athletic performance can still get excited about the SS trim level. This is the first electric SS performance model Chevy has produced.

Pricing and Which One to Buy

The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV 2LT and RS will be the first to go on sale in the middle of 2023. The 2LT trim is expected to start with an MSRP of $47,595, and the RS trim is expected to start at an MSRP of $51,995. The SS trim will follow in the later part of 2023 and is expected to start around $65,995. The 1LT and the PPV fleet model are expected in the first quarter of 2024, with the 1LT trim expected to start around $44,995.

Each trim level offers tremendous value for its price point. The decision of which to buy comes down to which capabilities and features are worth the price to you. The SS trim level is a good choice for speed enthusiasts, and high trim levels also come with head-turning aesthetic features.

For example, the RS and SS trim levels offer bold looks thanks to dual-element LED exterior lighting with choreographed sequences. These sequences are triggered when the driver approaches or walks away and incorporate elements, including a full light bar and illuminated Chevrolet Bowtie emblem on the front of the vehicle.

EV Motor, Power, and Performance

The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV is built on GM’s Ultium Platform, the future of the manufacturer’s zero-emissions vehicles. Drivers can choose from three available drive systems: front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive. The most impressive performance comes from the 2024 Blazer EV SS (a designation that stands for “Super Sport”).

GM estimates the following from the Blazer EV SS with the performance AWD propulsion configuration:

- Up to 557 horsepower
- Up to 648 lb-ft of torque
- WOW (Wide Open Watts) mode for 0-60 times of less than 4 seconds

Range, Charging, and Battery Life

Leadership at Chevrolet tasked the design and engineering teams to deliver an unprecedented driving experience with a great range. Those teams delivered. Drivers can choose from multiple distinct trims and range options, which will affect the battery life. The GM-estimated range options extend all the way up to 320 miles with a full charge.

GM estimates that the 2024 Blazer EV will be able to add roughly 78 miles of range in 10 minutes of charging. As the vehicle charges, the front lighting can provide status updates. Lighting sequences increase in speed and intensity as the vehicle gains charge.

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

Because this vehicle doesn’t require gas, there is no MPG rating. The miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) rating for the 2024 Blazer EV is not yet available. MPGe ratings measure how much mileage a vehicle can return from 22.7kWh of electricity.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

The interior of this vehicle takes inspiration from Chevrolet’s history of sports performance to make a statement with features like the following:
