The Equinox EV is a Charming Chevy Electric Crossover

At first glance, the Equinox EV looks like it was sent from the future. The front fascia features a long and slender LED light bar that stretches across the entire nose of the vehicle. The faux grille is outlined below the light bar by a ventilated strip and two LED headlamps.
The Equinox's body design is wrapped in beautiful, elegant lines and distinctive curves. To add to the sophisticated appearance, the Equinox EV has flat door handles that integrate seamlessly into the door.
It is Built upon the Ultium GM Platform
Another exciting aspect of the new Equinox EV is the innovative platform that it is built upon. GM's Ultium platform provides a unique electrical design that lays a series of automotive batteries on a flat platform. The flexible architecture allows certain batteries and electrical components to be changed without disrupting the overall battery system. When it comes to the interior, the Equinox EV does resemble the gas-powered Equinox. Similar to the exterior, the interior of the EV also has a futuristic look.
A large touchscreen infotainment display sits proudly in the center of the dash. There has not been a lot of information released about the information display, but Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth are expected to be standard features. A large driver information screen is also placed directly behind the steering wheel. This innovative display acts as a digital instrument cluster. It is fully customizable and allows you to quickly view the vehicle's information that is most important to you.
Although the new Equinox EV looks like a compact crossover on the outside, the interior is quite spacious. The front-row seats offer as much headspace and legroom as the gas-powered Equinox. The rear seats also provide enough legroom for adults to sit back comfortably. The rear cargo area is also spacious and can be extended by folding down the rear seats.
The rest of the cabin is adorned in premium materials that are expected to come in various colors and designs. The picture that Chevy has released shows a two-tone interior that features stunning black and vibrant red fabric.
When will the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV be Released, and How Much Will it Cost?
So far, Chevy has only announced two different trim levels for the 2024 Equinox EV: the LT and the RS. There are rumors that Chevy may add more trim levels to this model, but there has been no official word at the time of this writing.
The Equinox EV is set to have a starting price of around $30,000, considerably less than other EVs in its class. The 2024 Equinox EV is set to hit dealerships sometime in the fall of 2023.
