Future Chevy Electric Vehicles

More drivers are starting to trade their gas-burning vehicles for eco-friendly, all-electric ones. Recently, Chevy announced that it would accommodate the new demand by adding several EVs to its lineup. Here is a look at Chevy's upcoming electric vehicles and when you can expect to find them at a dealership near you.

The First-Ever All-Electric Blazer

Chevy Blazer Electric Vehicle

After taking a break for over a decade, the Blazer was reintroduced to the public in 2019. Chevy had transformed the new Blazer into a stunning and sporty crossover. Chevy lovers from all over the world instantly fell in love with the reinvented Blazer.

Chevy has announced that it will reinvent the iconic Blazer once again. The all-new Chevy Blazer EV has been completely redesigned from the ground up. It features a new sleek, stylish exterior and an upscale interior.

The new EV Blazer comes standard with a large 17.7-inch touchscreen infotainment display and an 11-inch driver information screen. It comes standard with Chevy's Safety Assist system, which has several driver-assist features, including forward collision warning and lane-keep assist.

Under the hood, the Blazer EV comes with a powerful all-electric motor. On the SS model, the Blazer comes equipped with a 557-horsepower electric motor that allows the vehicle to travel from 0 to 60 mph in just over three seconds. Depending on which trim level you get, the Blazer is expected to have an all-electric range of 247 to 320 miles.

The First-Ever All-Electric Equinox EV

Chevy Equinox Electric Vehicle

The 2024 Equinox EV is an all-new and all-electric SUV. Although it has a familiar name, it doesn't look like the gas-powered Equinox you know and love. The new EV has a futuristic front fascia highlighted by a solid "grille" and a long, slender LED light.

The interior has a futuristic appearance as well. The cabin is adorned in superior materials that are both stylish and comfortable. The backseat offers plenty of legroom, allowing backseat passengers to stretch out and get comfortable. A large driver information screen and an extra-large touchscreen infotainment display are proudly displayed across the dashboard. It is expected to have a range of more than 300 miles.

The new Equinox EV is built using the innovative Ultium GM platform, the same platform that the Hummer EV is built upon. The 2024 Equinox EV is expected to hit dealerships in the fall of 2023 and will have a starting price of around $30,000.

Silverado EV

Chevy Silverado Electric Vehicle

The Chevy Silverado has been one of America's best-selling pickup trucks for decades. It has always been known as a rugged and powerful vehicle that can work as hard as you do. Now, the Chevy Silverado is taking things up a notch by adding a new body, a new interior, and a new powerful all-electric motor.

The gas-powered Silverado and the Silverado EV share a nameplate, but that is about it.

The Silverado EV has a long and wide body and spacious bed. The all-electric pickup truck comes standard with a MultiFlex Midgate that allows you to lower the barrier separating the bed from the cab to get more cargo into the back. There is also an available MultiFlex tailgate that comes with a bed-extending setting. You can increase the length of your bed with the Multi-flex midgate from 5.9ft to 9 or 11ft with the tailgate down and Multi-flex engaged!

The interior is both comfortable and spacious. Fixed glass roofs allow natural light to wash over cabins. Front and rear seating offers enough head and leg room to hold adults comfortably.

Sitting in front of the steering wheel is a giant 11-inch digital instrument cluster. And just a few inches to the right is an extra-large 17-inch touchscreen infotainment display.

The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV offers at least two powerful engine options. The WT trim has a 510 horsepower engine that can deliver up to 615 lb-ft of torque. The RST model features an impressive motor that can provide a heart-stopping 644 horses and 780 lb-ft of torque.
