Chevrolet has been making memorable vehicles since 1911, but we can’t remember a time the American automaker had a more legendary lineup. The 2023 Chevy lineup will likely go down as an all-timer. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest and greatest cars, trucks, SUVs, and EVs with the bowtie logo.

2023 Chevrolet Lineup Overview: New Z06, Colorado, and Blazer EV

The 2023 Corvette Z06 is an absolute monster. Regardless of which type of vehicle you need, Chevy’s latest sports car is worth a look or two. It produces 670 horsepower with a 5.5-liter V8, and the engineers at Chevrolet are confident this vehicle can pull up to 1.22 G’s of lateral G Force.

The Chevy Colorado has been redesigned too, and we’ve heard people go as far as calling the new design “handsome.” The four-cylinder 2.7-liter engine can turn out anywhere from 237 to 310 horsepower. If you’re looking for a little something extra, consider any of the following options:

    • 2023 Colorado Trail Boss
    • 2023 Colorado Z71
    • 2023 Colorado ZR2 (including the Desert Boss edition)

The other big news in the Chevy lineup is that the Blazer EV is coming, though not until the 2024 model year. The Blazer EV is expected to go from zero to 60 miles per hour in under four seconds. There’s a lot to be excited about in the next few years. For now, though, here’s a glimpse at what you can expect for the 2023 model year.

New SUV Models

Here’s the quick version of what’s new with 2023 Chevy SUVs:

    • The gas-powered Chevy Blazer gets some slight stylistic updates for 2023.
    • The Trax will be discontinued, and drivers can now look to the 2023 Trailblazer for compact size and low prices.
    • The Equinox gains five horsepower and three color options.
    • The 2023 Traverse gets a little bit more luxurious while remaining as big and powerful as ever.

Most of the big changes to SUVs have to do with electric power (more on this below).

New Truck Models

It’s easy to see why the 2023 Chevy Colorado is making a splash. Chevrolet has moved on to the third generation of this truck after seven consecutive years without a major redesign. The updated version gains additional width, wheelbase length, and interior quality.

Last year’s big Silverado news was the addition of a ZR2 trim level. The 2023 Silverado ZR2 is now available in a Bison edition. Equipped with all kinds of tools and toys from American Expedition Vehicles in Montana, the Bison package is even better off the road than on it. We expect to be waiting one more year for the Silverado EV to be an option.

Watch Next in Electric Vehicles

Chevy’s electric vehicles are already known for being some of the most affordable. This year, they’re getting even less expensive, and by significant amounts:

    • The 2023 Bolt EV is $5,900 less expensive than it was in the previous model year.
    • The larger 2023 Bolt EUV is 6,300 less expensive than it was in the previous model year.

It’s not exactly common for vehicles to go so far down in price between model years, especially with inflation at a relative high. These two electric vehicles are making it easier than ever to leave the gas pump in your rearview mirror. Respectable ranges and low prices are driving interest in Chevy EVs just in time for multiple more all-electric options to come out in the 2024 model year.

New Z06 Corvette

Even if you visit your local Chevy dealership for an SUV or EV, it’s probably worth looking at the 2023 Corvette Z06. This mid-engine masterpiece starts at $119,150. Compared to other mid-engine supercars that can hit 60 miles per hour in 2.6 seconds, it’s still a bargain. If you don’t believe us, just look at the online 2023 Corvette Z06 customizer.

There’s plenty of reason for optimism when it comes to the upcoming Chevy vehicles. We’re even hoping for more updates about what the 2023 Chevy lineup will offer. To stay up to date with all of the latest news, or to take a test drive, visit your nearest Valley Chevy dealership.
