Chevy’s Electric Vehicle Release Dates in America

General Motors Chair and CEO Mary Barra confirmed during her 202

Chevy has some exciting new things coming to the impressive lineup. In addition to the fuel-efficient gas-powered models that Chevy has available, by 2024, there will also be five powerful and impressive all-electric vehicles to choose from. But you won't have to wait two years to get behind the wheel of a Chevy EV. Here is a look at the current and upcoming all-electric vehicles that Chevy has to offer.

Chevrolet New Electric Vehicles

There are currently two all-electric vehicles that are available for sale. Both EVs have a powerful electric motor and a wide range of desirable standard features. Here is a look at the specifications of each of the available vehicles.

2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV

The Chevy Bolt EUV is a sporty electric SUV with a well-equipped interior and stunning exterior. The cabin can comfortably seat up to five adults and offers enough legroom in both the front and rear seats. The seats are wrapped in soft cloth upholstery and come standard with a fun and contemporary pattern. Sitting in the driver's seat will make you feel like you are in a high-performance race car instead of an SUV. The steering wheel features a flat bottom design and a convenient push-button gear selector.

Powering the Bolt EUV is a 65-kWh battery pack that provides power to a 200-horsepower electric motor. The vehicle can be connected to a Level 1 (120-volt) outlet or a Level 2 (240-volt) outlet at your home. If you are traveling, you can plug it into a DC fast charging station to get up to 95 additional miles in just 30 minutes.

2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV

This year, the Chevy Bolt EV has been redesigned to feature a new stunning exterior design and a more futuristic interior design. The spacious interior offers plenty of legroom and headspace and also comes with a roomy rear cargo area. If you need extra interior cargo space, the rear seats can fold down flat to create up to 57 cubic feet of space.

The Bolt EV also adds several new standard driver assist features, including lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, and lane departure warning. Even though there have been so many new features added to this vehicle, it is still one of the most affordable all-electric vehicles in its class and has a starting price of around $31,500.

Chevrolet's Upcoming Electric Vehicles

The 2022 Bolt EV and the Bolt EUV are the only Chevy all-electric vehicles available for purchase now. However, starting next year, there will be more Chevy EVs available. And by 2024, there will be a total of five EV models available to choose from. Here is a look at the exciting upcoming Chevy EVs and when you can expect to see them at a dealership near you.

Silverado EV

Chevy has decided to transform the rugged and durable Chevy Silverado into an eco-friendly yet still powerful pickup truck. The Silverado EV features two powerful electric motors that provide power to all four wheels, produces up to 660 horsepower and 780 lb-ft of torque, and go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. When the battery is fully charged, the Silverado EV can travel up to 400 miles.

The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV will go on sale in the spring of 2023, but you can pre-order your model today.

Blazer EV

The Blazer has long been one of the most beloved SUVs among adventure enthusiasts. Starting in the 2024 model year, the iconic Blazer will be available as an EV. The Blazer is expected to be available sometime next year, and the full vehicle specs will be available on July 18, 2022.

Equinox EV

The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV looks like it hopped in a time machine and was shipped from the future. The faux grille features a stylish solid design and sits right below the long, slender light bar and headlights. The interior also features a futuristic design and comes standard with a large touchscreen infotainment display and a large digital instrument cluster.

You can expect to find this new and improved all-electric SUV at your nearest dealership in the fall of 2024.
