New S10 Chevy Truck

The new Chevy S10 Truck is unveiled on a car show floor as people gather around it

Chevrolet caught the attention of the global auto industry late last year when they announced the 2023 Chevy S10 Max 10 as their newest midsize pickup. You may have heard of the Chevy S10 made and sold in Brazil, which was a close cousin to the widely popular Chevy Colorado – but the 2023 Chevy S10 50 is an entirely new vehicle in a class all its own.

The S10 Max is engineered to offer the best of both worlds: the unmatched reliability and performance Chevrolet is known for, combined with an impressively affordable price. And in true Chevy style, the S10 Max has proven to be the best, most well-rounded package in its class. Whether your top priority is performance, safety, technology, mechanics, budget – or a combination of everything – the S10 truck 15000 definitely delivers.

First-Class Capabilities and Comfort

Chevrolet designed the S10 Max to be a job site standout, capable of going above and beyond to meet the demands of daily work. Choose from three body styles depending on your needs and budget, and enjoy the advantage of tailoring your truck to fit you. The body-on-frame truck is available with a chassis cab, standard cab, and a dual cab, with a payload of more than a metric ton (2,205 pounds). For the sake of comparison, the Chevy Colorado offers just 703 kilograms (1,550 pounds) for its 3.6-liter V6 crew cab, which is certainly a difference worth noting.

The new 2023 S10 Chevy truck is available with a naturally aspirated 2.4L engine with 158 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Or, you can opt for the turbocharged 2.0L engine, rated at 210 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, with a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission.

For anyone that spends a fair amount of time in their work truck – or even anyone that expects a high level of comfort in a vehicle – the S10’s crew cab body variant is slated to be the most spacious, comfort-centric option in the entire midsize truck segment. A healthy wheelbase allows for ample space in the second row, so all passengers benefit from plenty of legroom.

A Well-Equipped Work Truck with Tech

Chevy’s most well-equipped model of the S10 Max checks all the boxes from an equipment standpoint. Smart features such as keyless access and ignition, parking sensors, and a backup camera make it easy to set yourself up for a fuss-free driving experience, which is always a plus. You can also look forward to the convenience of a large, 10-inch multimedia screen and Apple Car Play/Android Auto compatibility, as well as automatic air conditioning (with rear vents) and cruise control.

Chevy’s standard safety package for the S10 Max includes stability control, six airbags, electronic brake distribution, and ABS brakes. Four-wheel drive, drive and hill descent modes, and locking differential all work together to boost driver confidence. Finally, thoughtful touches like a spray-in bed liner and bed-access steps distinguish the S10 Max as a solid choice across the board.
