Inside the 2026 Corvette Cockpit: Biggest Interior Overhaul Yet
The 2026 Corvette lineup marks an exciting new chapter for America’s most iconic sports car. Every model, from the Stingray to the Z06, E-Ray, and ZR1, now comes with a fully redesigned cabin focused on advanced technology, high-quality materials, and driver comfort. This is more than an update—it's the most significant interior change in Corvette history.
New Digital Displays
The 2026 Corvette’s interior features three integrated displays that put performance data and vehicle controls within easy reach.
A large 14-inch digital instrument cluster displays key driving information with clear graphics and customizable layouts for Tour, Sport, and Track modes. Next to it, a 12.7-inch infotainment screen sits in the center console, offering quicker response times and Google Built-in for easy navigation, media, and vehicle controls.
Chevrolet has added a 6.6-inch auxiliary touchscreen to the left of the steering wheel for the first time. This new screen lets drivers check trip mileage, view performance gauges, or adjust drive settings while keeping their eyes on the road.
With these displays, the cockpit feels more like a jet fighter’s command center than a typical sports car.
Interior Layout Changes
The 2026 redesign also updates the cabin’s layout and makes it easier to use.
The long, vertical HVAC control strip, which was a key part of the Corvette C8 interior, is now placed below the center display. This change gives the cabin a cleaner look and a more open feel between the driver and passenger. The passenger side now has a stylish grab handle, a new spot for the USB-C port, and better materials. The center console also has a bigger volume knob with a backlit base for easier use.
Chevrolet has moved the drive mode selector next to the gear shifter for a more intuitive and balanced layout. In its old spot, there is now a covered wireless charging pad below the infotainment screen to keep your device secure, even on fast drives. Features like illuminated cupholders with the Corvette’s crossed-flag logo and ambient lighting add a refined, performance-focused feel to the interior.
Corvette Tech & Infotainment
The new infotainment system uses Google Built-in, so you can use voice commands for navigation, streaming, and customizing your vehicle. When parked, you can access apps like Prime Video and HBO Max, making the cabin a connected entertainment space. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are still available, and OnStar adds convenience and safety with real-time help.
Performance technology has also been upgraded. The new Performance Data Recorder (PDR) has a redesigned interface and faster processing for real-time data analysis and HD video playback. Drivers can overlay speed traces, compare laps side by side, and get automated driving tips on the main display. For regular track drivers, the updated PDR feels like having a professional engineer in the passenger seat.
Drive Mode Controls & Customization
For 2026, Chevrolet gives you more detailed control over how the Corvette drives. The new toggle drive mode selector combines physical and digital controls, so you can quickly switch between Tour, Sport, Track, and custom MyMode settings.
The new Performance App brings together live data like horsepower, torque, G-forces, and tire temperature, all viewable on any of the three screens. Drivers can also set custom acceleration timers or show propulsion system details for accurate performance feedback.
Trim options have also been updated. New interior colors like Santorini Blue and Ultimate Suede, plus the unique Adrenaline Red layout, give you more ways to personalize your car. With carbon fiber accents and sueded microfiber surfaces, every part of the cabin shows the quality and style expected in a modern supercar.
