Corvette is Celebrating 65 Years with a New ‘Carbon 65’ Trim

According to the Head of Chevrolet Marketing

“Corvette is one of the most storied names in Chevrolet and sports car history, with a heritage few can match,” said Paul Edwards, U.S. vice president Chevrolet Marketing. “The new Carbon 65 Edition honors that legacy while offering customers another unique, special-edition model that personalizes the ownership experience.”

What we Know About the Carbon 65 Trim

Of the 650 'Carbon 65s' being constructed, 150 will be exported - leaving just 500 to be divvied out amongst the 3,000 Chevrolet dealerships scattered across teh country. The 'Carbon 65' will be an upgrade option for the Corvette Grand Sport of Z06, in which a carbon spoiler, ground effects, steering wheel, and cooling ducts are added for approximately $15,000. Additionally, this trim upgrade comes with black suede seats with blue stitching and the exterior gets the 'Ceramic Matrix Gray' paint scheme, blue top with grey sides, and 'Carbon 65' decals.
