’57 Chevrolet Truck Project in Phoenix Aims to Empower & Inspire Women – Chevy Montage
After the owner of Bogi's Garage, Bogi Lateiner, came up with the idea of having an all-woman team of mechanics restoring a 1957 Chevrolet pickup truck, women from all over the country are making their way to the Valley. When the truck is fully restored it will be featured on television and will eventually find its home on a Las Vegas dealership's showroom floor. The project was conceived in January and it is now known as Chevy Montage.
"Work together with one another and form connections and form relationships and build a really cool truck, but it really has nothing to do with the truck, it's really all about the community we're building," said Lateiner.

There are several dozen women making their way to Phoenix who are taking part in Chevy Montage, including Briana Huhn, a Minnesota women who is a welder by trade.
"The idea that I could potentially inspire other women, especially little women, to do things that are out of the norm, it's a cool feeling. Even if one person is interested, I think it makes a difference," she said.
Huhn's eight-year-old daughter, Rheyna, came to cheer her on.
"I want to be a welder and a tinkerer," said Rheyna. "I just like watching the sparks and how it feels."
